Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary based, amongst others and non-exclusively, on driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition, road condition and other factors. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. See the owner’s manual or NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide for details.

SUBARU WRX AND CROSSTREK AWARDED J.D. POWER 2025 CANADA ALG RESIDUAL VALUE SEGMENT AWARDS
14 March, 2025

  • Subaru WRX wins for its tenth consecutive year.

  • Subaru Crosstrek wins for the ninth time.

(MISSISSAUGA, ONT.)— Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is proud to announce that the WRX and Crosstrek have won the J.D. Power 2025 Canada ALG Residual Value Award in the Sporty Car and Small SUV segments, respectively. This award signifies that these models maintain their value better than any other model in their segments. This marks the tenth consecutive year for WRX and nine wins in total for Crosstrek.

The J.D. Power Canada ALG Residual Value Awards are the automotive leasing industry standard when it comes to recognizing the vehicle segments that are projected to hold the highest percentage of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) after four years for mass market vehicles and after three years for premium vehicles.

The Subaru WRX continues to feature a 2.4-litre turbocharged BOXER engine with 271 horsepower, symmetrical full-time All-Wheel Drive and long-travel suspension to keep the WRX close to its heralded rally roots.

The Crosstrek continues to be a Canadian favourite. Sleek looks, updated technology, increased comfort, and a higher level of refinement and ergonomics help Crosstrek continue to be SCI’s best-selling model.

“Providing long-lasting value to our customers is a key part of our strategic planning,” said SCI Chairman, President, and CEO Tomohiro Kubota. “It is encouraging to continue to receive residual value awards, demonstrating our constant achievement in this area.”
